Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use FancyFontGenerators.com (“the site”, “we”, “us”), why it is collected, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and in plain English.

The short version

  • Text you type into our tools is converted in your browser. It is not sent to our server.
  • Favorites, copy history and saved creations stay on your device. We cannot see them.
  • We show ads from Google AdSense. Google uses cookies and similar identifiers to show and measure ads.
  • We use Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode to see aggregated usage statistics.
  • Our security and hosting providers keep standard technical logs, as almost every website does.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and you do not need an account to use the site.

Text you type into the tools

FancyFontGenerators.com is a static website. When you type into a generator, the Name and Bio Builder or any other tool, the conversion happens in your own browser, using code that is downloaded with the page. Your text is not sent to our server and we do not store it.

Data stored on your device

Some features remember things for you, such as your favorite styles, your copy history, the creations you save in the Name and Bio Builder, and similar preferences. These are saved in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) on your device. They are not sent to us, and we cannot see them.

You can remove them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. They are also deleted if you use a private window and close it, or if you clear your browsing data.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

The site is free because it shows ads served by Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-4403101697316887). Google and its partners use cookies and similar identifiers, such as device or advertising IDs, to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure how ads perform and prevent fraud.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies lets Google and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. Depending on your choices and where you live, ads may be personalised to your interests or non-personalised (based on things like the page you are viewing and your general location).

To learn more, read Google’s page How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

  • Turn off personalised ads: visit Google Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com) to turn off personalised ads from Google. You will still see ads, but they will be less tailored to you.
  • Consent message in Europe: visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a consent message from Google’s Privacy & messaging tool, a Google-certified consent platform. You can accept, refuse or choose which purposes to allow. To change your choice later, use the privacy and cookie settings link where it is shown, or clear this site’s cookies and reload the page to see the message again.
  • Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies, including third-party cookies, in your browser. Some features of ads or analytics may then not work, but our tools will still work.
  • US state privacy laws: some US state laws treat advertising cookies as “selling” or “sharing” personal information. To opt out, turn off personalised ads in Google Ad Settings or block third-party cookies, or email us.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used as a whole: which pages and tools are popular, how people find the site, and what kinds of devices and browsers they use. This helps us fix problems and decide what to improve. We look at aggregated reports and do not try to identify individual visitors.

Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your approximate location (for example country or city), and your device and browser type. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.

Analytics runs with Google Consent Mode. Where consent is required, such as in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics does not store cookies on your device unless you agree. You can also install Google’s Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Technical logs, hosting and Cloudflare

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which provides a content delivery network (CDN) and security services, and is hosted on a web server. When you load a page, Cloudflare and our hosting server automatically record standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type (user agent), the page requested, the date and time, and the referring page.

These logs are used to keep the site secure, block abuse and fix errors. They are kept only as long as needed for those purposes and are not used for advertising. Cloudflare may also set strictly necessary security cookies, for example to tell people and bots apart.

If you email us

If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to deal with your request, and we keep it only as long as needed for that.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only:

  • with the service providers described above (Google for ads and analytics, Cloudflare, and our hosting provider), so they can provide their services;
  • if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of the site and its visitors;
  • if the site is ever sold or transferred, in which case this policy will continue to apply to the information.

Google and Cloudflare operate worldwide, so information they process may be handled in countries other than your own, including the United States. They are responsible for protecting it under their own privacy policies and legal commitments.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR in the EEA, the UK GDPR, or US state laws such as the CCPA in California, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, to withdraw consent at any time, and not to be treated differently for using these rights.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for advertising and analytics cookies, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure for technical logs.

Because the tools run in your browser and we do not offer user accounts, we hold very little information that identifies you. For ads and analytics, the quickest controls are the consent message, Google Ad Settings and your browser settings. For any other request, email us at [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children’s privacy

The site is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or under the minimum age set in your country, which is up to 16 in some European countries). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site, our providers or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make an important change, we will make it clear on this page.
